Eccentric
Works with your Whoop band

Your recovery, right beside your training.

Connect your Whoop band once and Eccentric pulls in your sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate and recovery score every day — no typing. So when a session feels heavy, you can see whether last night had something to say about it.

What you get

Recovery data that actually gets used.

The recovery signal only helps if it's there every day and sitting where you make decisions. That's the whole point of connecting Whoop.

It fills itself in.

Connect once and your sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate and recovery score arrive every day on their own.

Read it against what you lifted.

Your recovery lands right next to your sessions and trends — so you can ask whether the heavy days line up with the rough nights, instead of guessing.

Honest, never overclaimed.

Eccentric shows the sample size and frames patterns as questions — “you tend to move slower on low-sleep days,” not a verdict. Your training is an experiment with one participant.

Private to you.

Your recovery data is yours. A coach can write your plans and review your sessions without ever seeing your sleep or HRV — unless you decide to share it.

How it works

Connect once. Done.

No daily ritual, no manual entry. Just your recovery, where your training already lives.

01

Connect Whoop

Link your Whoop account once, from your Context page.

02

It syncs daily

Each day, your sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate and recovery score flow into Eccentric automatically — no export, no typing.

03

Read it in context

Your recovery shows up beside your training and your trends, so the two are finally in one picture.

Wearing both?

You pick which one we trust.

Plenty of people wear a ring at night and a band the rest of the time. Both can be connected at once.

One day, one device.

Connect Whoop and Oura together and Eccentric asks you a question: which one should we trust? Your sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate and readiness for a given day all come from the one you pick — a day is never half one device and half the other.

The other one covers the gaps.

Travel, a flat battery, a night you forgot to put it on — the one you didn't pick fills in those days, on its own. It's one choice for the whole picture rather than one per number, so you can always say where a reading came from.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do I need a Whoop to use Eccentric?

No. Eccentric works fully without any wearable. Whoop just makes your recovery data show up automatically instead of you entering it by hand.

What does Whoop bring in?

Your daily sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, and your recovery score. They land in your daily context, next to the training they help explain.

Where does my recovery score show up?

As Readiness. Whoop calls it a recovery score and Eccentric's column is called Readiness — same number, and this is the word you'll be looking for on the page.

Why do I have to leave every permission ticked?

Whoop's consent screen lets you un-tick permissions one by one, and one of them is what allows your data to keep arriving after you close the tab. Without it the connection would work for a few hours and then quietly stop, so we'd rather refuse it up front and tell you. If that happens, connect again and leave everything ticked.

Can my coach see my recovery data?

Only if you choose to share it. Recovery is a separate permission — a coach can write your plans and review your sessions without ever seeing your sleep or HRV.

Will Eccentric tell me my sleep caused a bad session?

No. We show the sample size and frame patterns as hypotheses, never as proof. We'd rather be honest about a one-person experiment than sell you false certainty.

What if I also wear an Oura ring?

Connect both. Eccentric then asks which one to trust, and every recovery reading for a day comes from that one — the other fills in the days it missed. You can change your mind whenever you like.
