These Terms govern your use of Eccentric (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
What the Service is
Eccentric is an analysis and coaching layer on top of training data you bring in from your own equipment and apps. It does not capture your workouts itself and does not replace your equipment or its software.
Not medical advice
Eccentric is a fitness and analytics tool, not a medical device or a medical, diagnostic, or professional service. Nothing in the Service is medical advice. Training — especially with added load or blood-flow-restriction — carries risk. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a program, and stop if you experience pain, dizziness, or other warning signs. You train at your own risk.
Your account
- You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access secure.
- You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract (at least 16).
Your data and content
You own the plans, logs, and data you create or import. You grant us the limited license needed to host and process that data to provide the Service to you. If you grant another person access to your training account (for example, a coach), you are responsible for that decision; you can change or revoke it at any time.
Acceptable use
- Don't misuse the Service, attempt to break its security, or disrupt it for others.
- Don't upload unlawful content or data you don't have the right to use.
- Don't resell or reverse-engineer the Service except where the law allows.
Third-party equipment and services
The Service works alongside hardware and apps we don't control (such as your trainer and its companion app). We're not responsible for those products, their availability, or their data formats.
Availability and changes
The Service is offered on an “as available” basis, and is currently in early access — features may change, break, or be removed. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on analysis the Service produces. Analysis is presented as hypotheses, not guarantees of outcome.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
